Real-time MSTID monitoring service

Real-time service for Medium Scale Traveling Ionospheric Disturbances (MSTIDs) detection is built in the frame of Precise Ionospheric Modelling For Improved GNSS Positioning in Poland (PIOM-FIPP) project founded by the European Space Agency (ESA Contract No. 4000109437/13/NL/CBi).
In the MSTID monitoring service the Single Receiver Medium Scale Traveling Ionospheric Disturbances index (SRMTID) concept is introduced. In the current implementation the SRMTID index is calculated in real time using satellites observed form for six stations. The service presents MSTIDs risk level over Central Europe. In addition, real-time SRMTID calculation and long-term SRMTID plots for LAMA0 station are presented.
